Live in Littau

Another private event yesterday with Roy Ellis and co...a very well received show...the public were very happy and Roy was in great form pushing them with a fine selection of songs, turning a gospel concert into a swinging dance party. Tom Wettstein blew in at the last minute from another gig and gave a great performance. Tenor Sax honors were filled by Rolf Haesler from interlaken...a very fine jazz player who handled the position well coming in cold without ever hearing the program...the gig was in a remodeled barn, a very classy affair...the funky monks performed after and the crowd, mostly from zurich got their moneys worth with fine food, fine music and fine organization! 2 thumbs up to Dani for all his great work.......!!!
